Key Development Points of Industrial Coke Furnace Coal Gas Igniters
Industrial Coke Furnace Coal Gas Igniters (CKGI) are specialized equipment used to supply heat for the combustion process of hot gas.Their main purpose is to introduce hot air and air for combustion into a heating facility according to a certain ratio and mixing condition, to meet the requirements of flame direction, shape, rigidity, and propagation. In the heating process, industrial coke furnace coal gas burners are designed to generate high-temperature waste gas from steel production plants.Industrial coke furnace coal gas burners utilize any pressure and heat value of high-temperature waste gas produced by steel mills to achieve automatic ignition and other functions.
Key Development Points of Industrial Coke Furnace Coal Gas Igniters:
CKGIs use coke furnace gas to replace coke furnace gas and equipped with safety burners.By analyzing combustion characteristics data of coke furnace gas, it has been concluded that the main drawback of coke furnace gas is poor combustion stability and prone to sparking. Therefore, in the development of CKGIs, how to ensure the safe and effective utilization of coke furnace gas is the key.
CO is the major combustible component in coke furnace gas, accounting for over 90% of the combustion components. It is a colorless, odorless, and highly toxic toxic gas. Due to the high ignition temperature of coke furnace gas compared to that of coke furnace gas, the ignition concentration range is narrow.Once there is a pressure fluctuation, CKGIs will ignite, causing a flame to extinguish and leakage of coal gas, leading to major safety accidents. Therefore, prevention of ignition is the key to this technology. By analyzing combustion characteristics of coke furnace gas, the necessary conditions for preventing CKGIs from sparking include:
(1) The relative concentration of air and gas must be appropriate and within a preset range.
(2) The average gas flow velocity of the outlet of CKGI must be controlled within the combustion range.
(3) Pretreatment of the gas, so that the gas temperature is close to the ignition temperature and easy to ignite.
(4) Setting of a duty light (adjustable light) at the outlet of CKGI as a spark source.
